Description:
Have you always wondered what it's like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren't quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, The Discovery/Discover Scuba Course gives you a glimpse of what you could expect to experience in the underwater world as well as what you could expect to learn in the full Open Water Scuba course. During this experience program, you will go through the basic safety procedures for an enjoyable diving experience under the watchful eye of an instructor. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you'll learn all the steps it takes to be a certified diver.

As a Discover Scuba Diver, you will go over the scuba equipment used to dive and see how easy it is to move around underwater with your gear. You also learn key skills such as equalizing your ears, buddy checks, underwater communication, and more!

No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.

Cancellation Policy:
Pirates Cove Watersports holds your reservation with a credit card. By providing a credit card number the customer agrees to allow Pirates Cove Watersports to charge the remaining amount due on the reservation to the payment card on file at the start of your scuba instruction subject to the terms and conditions of banks and credit card providers at the terms of service herein.

Customers who do not show up for the scheduled instruction and do not call to cancel or reschedule outside of 7 days will be subject to paying a late cancellation, no-show fee. Pirates Cove Watersports has the right to charge the full value of the reservation if cancelled within the cancellation policy. The boat does not wait for late arrivals. We do not refund because of seasickness. Please call 305-453-9881 if your plans change for any reason and we will be happy to assist.

Pirates Cove Watersports requires all participants (including minors) to complete and sign a liability waiver prior to any training programs, boat trips, or water activity rental.
