Important Information Before Your Adventure
The Everglades is a remote wilderness area with changing tides, shallow waters, and unique navigation challenges. Renters are responsible for operating the vessel safely, respecting wildlife, protecting sensitive habitats, and following all posted boating regulations.
Before departing, we recommend checking weather conditions, reviewing your route, carrying proper safety equipment, and preparing for a true Florida backcountry experience.
Experience the Everglades like never before — rent a boat and explore Florida’s legendary waterways on your own adventure.
Important Rental Requirements:
-
If you do not have your Boater Safety Education ID Card, you must complete the required boating safety course in advance prior to your rental. Please plan accordingly (If you already hold a valid NASBLA-approved boating safety certificate from another state, it will be recognized, and you will not be required to complete an additional boating safety test.)
-
First-time boaters are not permitted to rent our pontoon boats. If you have never driven a boat before, or if we determine you lack sufficient experience, you will be required to take a thorough competency test before renting.
-
Failure to comply with safety requirements or failure to meet our rental standards will result in cancellation of your rental without refund.
-
Renters must be 18 years or older to rent and operate the boat.
-
If you have limited boating experience, we require that you have someone on board with proper boating experience for safety purposes.
Your safety and the safety of all passengers is our top priority. Thank you for understanding and helping us ensure a fun and secure experience on the water!

Florida Boater Safety License Requirements

Before operating a rental boat, please make sure you have completed your required boating safety course and have proof of certification available.
